The sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and gently removed in the direction of hair growth. How long does the result last
Experience shows that the first time takes about two to three weeks; regular appointments usually take three to five weeks.
Treatment duration
Approx. 30 minutes.
Socially acceptable
Immediately after treatment. Temporary redness or a slight feeling of warmth may occur and usually disappears quickly.
Suitable for
Sensitive skin that is prone to razor burn or small pimples. Ideal for anyone who wants smooth underarms without stubble - e.g. before vacations, events or in combination with skin care treatments.
Not suitable for
Do not use on open skin areas, heavy sweating, acute skin inflammation or after shaving. Take care with (iso)retinoids, after chemical peelings or laser treatments and with skin irritated by deodorant or perfume.
Before treatment
A mild peeling one to two days before the appointment ensures an even result. The ideal hair length is around three to six millimetres. Please do not apply any deodorant or oil-based care products on the day of treatment.
During treatment
The sugar paste is applied in small sections using a gentle hand technique and gently removed in the direction of hair growth. We adjust the pressure and tension individually to the sensitivity of the skin.
After treatment
Do not use perfumed products, deodorants or antiperspirants within 48 hours. Avoid sun, solarium, sauna and heavy sweating. A mild, unscented moisturizer can be used from the second day onwards. Regular gentle exfoliation (1-2 times a week) prevents ingrown hairs.
Risks
Temporary redness, slight irritation or, in rare cases, small irritation pimples are possible. These usually subside within a few hours. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend consulting us in advance.

Products

We work with the sugar paste from Planta Naturstoff. The formulation is based on sugar and water, is water-soluble, free from wax or resin components and is listed as vegan in specialist shops. Residues can be completely removed with warm water, making the application particularly hygienic and kind to the skin.
