Sugaring is the particularly skin-friendly method of hair removal on a natural basis. The sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and gently removed in the direction of hair growth. This is gentle on the skin, reduces irritation and leaves the skin feeling smooth and well-groomed. Ideal for anyone who prefers a natural, gentle and effective alternative to shaving or waxing. Thoroughly removed hair and smooth, even skin on the buttocks with a light peeling effect. The skin looks nourished and feels pleasantly soft.
How long does the result last
Experience shows that the first time takes about two to three weeks; regular appointments usually take three to five weeks.

Socially acceptable
Immediately after treatment. Temporary redness is possible and usually subsides quickly.
Suitable for
Sensitive skin and anyone who wants thorough yet gentle removal in a high-friction area. The method is water-soluble and therefore particularly kind to the skin.
Not suitable for
Not for sunburn, open skin areas or active skin infections. Caution and individual clarification with (iso)retinoids, shortly after chemical peelings or laser treatments, under anticoagulants, with pronounced varicose veins as well as with strong antibiotic or hormone therapy if the skin reacts irritated.
Before treatment
A gentle body scrub one or two days beforehand helps to achieve an even result. The ideal hair length is around three to six millimetres. Please do not apply any oil-based care products on the day of treatment.
During treatment
You don't have to pay attention to anything special. We work manually and adapt the technique and tension to your sensitivity and to the area with higher friction.
After treatment
Avoid sun, solarium, sauna and chlorinated water for 48 hours. No intensive sport within 24 hours. No perfumed or alcohol-containing products in the treated area for 12 to 24 hours. Wear loose, breathable clothing and underwear for the first 24 hours; from the second day onwards, gently exfoliate twice a week and moisturize daily.
Risks
Temporary redness, slight irritation or occasional ingrown hairs are possible. The skin may react more sensitively for a short time in high-friction areas. If you have a known skin condition or very sensitive skin, we recommend a brief consultation beforehand.

Products

We work with the sugar paste from Planta Naturstoff. The formulation is based on sugar and water, is water-soluble, free from wax or resin components and is listed as vegan in specialist shops. Residues can be completely removed with warm water, making the application particularly hygienic and kind to the skin.
